Staying Rooted in Love

Sweet Relatives!

I come to you today with this message, healed from cancer! I am currently receiving some ongoing treatments and therapies, but I continue to mend well and am so thankful for that! This journey of cancer and its related treatments has brought with it great gifts of additional perspectives and the ability to integrate new tools of healing. I am back to co-creating healing journeys with individuals and groups at the wellness studio and leadings gatherings/teaching classes with even more new class content & topics. Coming back to the spiritual and energy work at the wellness studio feels like a remarkable rebirth. Each day, I am filled with an immense gratitude for the power of healing and this renewed opportunity to continue to share what I have learned on my journeys. My own experience with cancer has deepened my understanding of the intricate connection between the Mind, Body, and Spirit. It has taught me additional layers of my gifts and additional ways to cherish the sacredness of life, and death. It has also reignited the understanding of the importance of nurturing our connections, energies, and well-being. Now, as I step back into my role, I bring an even more unique empathy and compassion to my healing practices. It is an honor to support individuals on their own healing journeys, guiding them towards peace, renewal, and wholeness. I am so thankful to be able to continue to do this work and I am so honored to walk this Earth with you.

In July we held a fundraising event at the Leaping Lizard in Covington, KY to support me and the wellness studio as I recover from cancer-related surgery. I cannot express enough how grateful and overwhelmed I was and still am by the love and support that has poured in from friends, my chosen family, and my Spiritual family. The emotional, financial, and situational support that has come since I shared my cancer diagnosis and recovery journey has been nothing short of pure love and magic. It has reminded me, once again, what a blessed woman I am. There have been so many moments during this challenging time that have become precious gifts on my journey – the biggest being the gift of being reminded how loved, loving, and worthy I truly am and to receive this unconditional love and acceptance in its entirety. Thank you for being a part of it in some way, even if it is just by being here and reading this post.

Staying Present & Connected: Embracing the Full Spectrum of Emotions And Integrating it into Action

In this journey called life, there are moments that leave us overwhelmed with a sense of joy and love and community. Also rage, heartache, and grief. We cannot deny our own individual energies and we cannot deny the collective energies. All too often in trying times we tend to look away, seeking solace elsewhere- maybe even in things that do not serve our Soul’s greatest good and highest purpose. However, there is another path, one rooted in our connections to each other and to the One-ness. It encourages us to lean into these emotions, acknowledging them as part of our shared human experience. Spirituality offers us a profound connection to the One-ness that binds us all. It provides a lens through which we can view the world with authenticity, compassion, and understanding. Rather than shying away from the depths of our emotions, spirituality invites us to dive into them, recognizing that they are integral to our growth and evolution. When we choose to lean into rage or pain, we acknowledge the injustices and inequalities that exist in our world and even in our lives. Instead of allowing anger to consume us, spirituality helps us transform this raw energy into a force for positive change. By channeling this anger into awareness and action, we can work towards creating a more just and compassionate Earth realm.

Heartache, too, is an inevitable part of the human experience. Spirituality teaches us that to embrace heartache is to honor the depth and vulnerability of our being. Through practices such as meditation, prayer, intention or connecting with nature, we can open ourselves to healing and find solace in the interconnectedness of all things. In doing so, we cultivate more empathy and compassion towards ourselves and others, recognizing that we are all connected in our experiences of pain and loss. It begins where our hands are- here and now. We can be impactful if we start with us.

Grief, perhaps the most profound emotion of all, often prompts us to look away, fearing the pain it brings. However, spirituality invites us to lean into grief, to fully mourn and honor what has been lost….those who have been lost. It teaches us that through grieving, we acknowledge the sacredness of life and the interconnectedness of all beings.  In embracing grief, we find solace in the power of healing, and the strength that emerges from the darkness. In this time of unrest (and in any time of unrest), when the current weight of the world's violence and injustice feels unbearable, it becomes crucial to seek solace in a place of love. Love is activism. Rage is an expression of love and hurt in action. It is during these moments that we must hold onto the flicker of compassion in our hearts, embracing it as a guiding light amidst the darkness. Staying in a place of love means refusing to let hatred consume us and instead choosing empathy as our armor. It means extending kindness to those who are hurting, and cultivating understanding rather than judgment. It is through love that we can heal the heartbreak, mending the fractures in our communities and working towards a world where peace and harmony prevail. Let love be our foundation as we navigate these tumultuous times. It is in this unwavering love that we find strength, resilience, and the commitment to make positive change. Stay anchored in love, and let it be the force that fuels our collective journey towards a better tomorrow.

By utilizing spirituality to stay connected to the One-ness of us all, we create space within ourselves to embrace the full spectrum of emotions. Rather than solely seeking moments of joy and contentment, we learn to traverse the depths of despair, anger, and sorrow. In doing so, we become more compassionate, more understanding, and more connected to ourselves and those around us. So, let us not look away from the challenging emotions that life presents. Whether it be a loved one with cancer, or a friend in need, or acts of mass violence in the world.  Instead, let us lean into them with hearts and minds, guided by the wisdom of LOVE. Whatever that looks like for you, do that.  In this way, we can truly embrace our shared human experiences and forge a path towards a more compassionate and interconnected world.

Migweech, Gracias Sweet Ones. For being here. For loving me back. For loving each other.
